The episode, '[Miranda July on the unexpected wildness of ageing,'](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/miranda-july-on-the-unexpected-wildness-of-ageing/id1527442768?i=1000655492122&ref=ashleykelsch.com) is a must-listen for anyone navigating through Perimenopause/Menopause, especially if they're feeling groundless or alone in the process
- 🤔 reflect on the time I’ve been spending pushing through a few books on my nightstand that I thought I should love, only to breeze through ['All Fours' ](https://bookshop.org/a/106585/9780593190265?ref=ashleykelsch.com)in a day. Got me thinking, should reading—and relationships—be effortless joyrides or a little bit of trudging? Do we really have to finish this just because we started??

*One thing is FOR SURE- I’ve never resonated more deeply with a book than this one.*

**The Challengers**

‘You’re not too old even if those kids about to have a threesome seem too young.’

That’s what I had to tell myself before going into The Challengers with my daughter- and a hundred other Gen Zers this last weekend in NY. Glad I did. Makes me think it’s okay spending $330 plus on the [I Told Ya shirt by Loewe](https://www.loewe.com/usa/en/men/menswear/t-shirts/relaxed-fit-t-shirt-in-cotton/H526Y22XB7-1440.html?p=1&ref=ashleykelsch.com)

Not to mention wearing it in front of my kids at just the right time …. yah, I’m really starting to think it’s worth it. (*If you agree, you can upgrade to a paid subscription today and I’ll see that it go towards it* 🥳)
